Tjhoko Paint Clear Glaze is a 100% Acrylic water based sealer that can be used to give your Tjhoko painted surface an extra layer of protection and a subtle sheen. Protect your surface, make it water and UV resistant. The stain resistant, washable formulation makes cleaning your surface a breeze.
Mix your Glaze 1:1 with cooled down boiled water for a less sheen finish or 1 part water to 2 parts Glaze for more sheen and apply with a clean microfiber cloth once your paint is completely dry - we advise waiting overnight to ensure paint has fully cured. Tjhoko Paint Clear Glaze can also be used as an oil and varnish blocker to treat wood bleed on your newly painted surface and as a medium to adhere decoupage material, fabric, serviettes etc. to your project.

Diluting Your Glazes
Clear Glaze:
To adjust the sheen, dilute Clear Glaze with cooled boiled water.
For best results, dilute the clear glaze by mixing 3 parts glaze with 1 part water. This ensures a smoother application and optimal finish.
When applying Clear Glaze to darker surfaces, especially black, dilute it 50/50 with cooled boiled water to avoid streaks.
Antique Glaze:
Dilute with cooled boiled water to control the intensity of the stain. A lighter finish requires more water, while a stronger finish needs less.
